Carbon Flat Profile 7x1mm 1m

This is a carbon fiber flat profile with a fiber content of 63%. The profile is pultruded (extruded). Through this manufacturing process, the fibers are unidirectional, arranged in the longitudinal direction. This achieves a high fiber content, but the profiles are susceptible to shear loads. For cutting, we therefore recommend using a diamond cutting disc or saw instead of side cutters. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties and is perfect for applications where stability and lightness are needed. The surface is slightly porous and can be perfectly bonded with 3D printed workpieces. This allows for the construction of lightweight, complex and stable structures, such as for model making.
