Carbon Flat Profile 10x1mm 1m

This is a carbon fiber CFRP flat profile with a fiber content of 63%. The profile is pultruded (drawn). Through this manufacturing process, the fibers are unidirectional, arranged in the longitudinal direction. This achieves a high fiber content, but the profiles are susceptible to shear loads. Therefore, we recommend using a diamond cutting wheel or saw for cutting and not using side cutters. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties and is perfect for applications that require stability and lightness. The surface is slightly porous and can be super-glued with 3D printed parts. This allows for the construction of light, complex, and stable structures, for example in model building.
