Carbon Flat Profile 6x0.8mm 1m

This is a carbon fiber CFK flat profile with a fiber content of 63%. The profile is pultruded (extruded). Through this manufacturing process, the fibers are unidirectional, arranged in the longitudinal direction. This achieves a high fiber content, but the profiles are susceptible to shear loads. Therefore, for cutting, we recommend using a diamond cutting disc or saw instead of side cutters. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties and is perfect for applications where stability and lightness are required. The surface is slightly porous and can be super glued with 3D printed parts. This allows lightweight, complex, and stable scaffolds to be constructed, for example, for model making.
