Laser Distance Sensor UART 4-400cm

This laser distance sensor can be used for detecting objects within a range of 4 to 400 cm with an accuracy of ±2 cm. Supported by 3 different measurement modes, it is well applicable for various detection scenarios such as security gate detection, access control systems, security alarm devices, smart trash cans, smart cars, or obstacle-avoidance robots. The black metal housing of the sensor is equipped with a threaded tube, and the probe features an optical cover. The integrated design enables the product to effectively filter optical interference and is waterproof and shockproof. The sensor uses an invisible laser and includes a voltage regulator inside the module. The sensor features stable performance and a UART output and has an alarm output line that is triggered when the measurement distance is smaller than the threshold value set by the user.
