Fermion FTDI USB UART 3.3/5V

This is a simple FTDI Breakout Board from DFRobot with your FT23RL chip that allows USB to Serial communication. This board allows programming of a microcontroller where this chip is not present. For example, the Arduino ProMini or ESP8266. A jumper can be used to switch between 3.3 or 5V. On this board, the DTR is led out instead of the RTS Pin. This enables the microcontroller to be automatically reset after uploading a program. This board has TX and RX LEDs to view serial data traffic and check if the board is functioning.
