ESP-01 CH340G Programmer

This programming adapter contains a CH340G chip that enables USB to serial communication. The programming adapter is perfect for programming the ESP-01. Unfortunately, the ESP-01 is not automatically set to flash/programming mode. To set the ESP-01 to this mode, GND must be connected to GPIO0 when plugging it in. This is easiest if you insert a wire or < 1kOhm resistor on GND and GPIO0 on the adapter, the ESP-01 can then be plugged in. Once the programming adapter is plugged into the USB port, the ESP-01 is in programming mode and can receive programs from the Arduino software. If you want to copy a program again later, the adapter must always be unplugged and plugged back in first.
