5m Waterproof DS18B20 Shielded Temperature Sensor

This 5m long waterproof temperature sensor contains a DS18B20 sensor chip with a 1-wire communication. The sensor is connected via a shielded cable, making communication with the temperature sensor less interference-prone. The DS18B20 is a digital temperature sensor in a TO92 housing. The sensor is very precise and reliable as it was factory calibrated. To control it with an Arduino, you can use the "DallasTemperature" library. To read out the DS18B20, you only need one input from your Arduino. You can also use multiple sensors on one input. For the operation of the sensor, you need a 4.7 kOhm resistor, which you switch between VCC and Data (e.g. if you have 5 sensors on the same input, you only need one resistor).

Connecting the DS18B20 to an Arduino UNO:

It's important to connect a 4.7K Ohm resistor between red and white.
