50m TOF Laser Distance Sensor (D)

The Waveshare TOF Laser Range Sensor (D) is a high-precision laser distance sensor based on time-of-flight technology with an impressive range of up to 50 meters. The sensor features an integrated microcontroller and a sophisticated measurement algorithm that ensures an accuracy of ±3 cm over the entire measurement range. With its extremely narrow field of view of only 1° to 2°, the sensor is particularly insensitive to ambient light interference and is therefore suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The sensor communicates optionally via UART or I2C and supports cascading of up to eight modules on one bus in I2C mode.
