16mm Pressure Button with RGB Lighting 5V - Stainless Steel

This 16mm momentary button features an illuminated RGB LED ring that can be controlled in different colors via an Arduino or other microcontroller. On the back, there are two gold contacts for the switch and four silver ones that are used for the cathode and the anodes of the Red, Green, and Blue LED. The illuminated RGB button already has internal resistors. Therefore, you can connect the LED lighting directly to your microcontroller without additional resistance. The resistors for the lighting are designed for 5V, but you can also operate them with 3.3V. If you want to use a higher voltage, for example, 12VDC or 24VDC, you simply need to add a 1kOhm resistor in series with the LED cathode to keep the LED current at about 20mA.

You can control the LED best via three PWM outputs on the microcontroller, so you can control your button with any colors.
