22mm Pressure Button with RGB Lighting 5V - Stainless Steel

This 22mm momentary button features an illuminated RGB LED ring that can be controlled in various colors via an Arduino or other microcontroller. On the back, there are four gold contacts for the switch (normally open and normally closed) and four silver contacts, used for the cathode and three for the anode of the red, green, and blue LED. The illuminated RGB button already has built-in resistors internally. Thus, you can connect the LED lighting directly to your microcontroller without an additional resistor. The resistors for the lighting are designed for 5V, but you can also operate them with 3.3V. If you wish to use a higher voltage, such as 12VDC or 24VDC, you simply need to add a 1kOhm resistor in series to the LED cathode to keep the LED current at approximately 20mA.

The control of the LED is best achieved through three PWM outputs on the microcontroller, allowing you to drive your button with any colors.
