1200x825 9.7inch Black/White E-Ink Display Raspberry Pi HAT

This is a large 9.7-inch E-Ink / ePaper display module with 640 × 384 pixel resolution. The module has an integrated IT8951 controller that communicates via USB, SPI, I80, or I2C interface. This black and white display supports partial updates. Thus, individual areas can be updated quickly within 0.3 seconds. A full display refresh also takes only 1 second. Due to its low power consumption, it is excellent for battery-powered applications. These displays are also used in sales as price tags, where they can be operated for several years with a battery. The display has a very good viewing angle and can be easily read even in sunlight. It takes 6 seconds for the image to build up across the entire display. Therefore, it is not intended for applications where the display needs to be refreshed every 1 second.
