YIHUA 946D-IV Mini Preheating Plate 210W with PID Control for SMD and BGA Rework

The YIHUA 946D-IV is a compact digital preheating plate for demanding electronics repairs, reballing, and rework operations on SMD and BGA components. The effective heating surface made of aluminum measures 100 × 50 mm and offers excellent thermal conductivity as well as a very flat surface, so that even larger boards are heated evenly and without hotspots. The temperature control is performed by a high-precision PID microcomputer that monitors the plate surface in real-time and compensates deviations within milliseconds. The adjustable temperature range is from 50°C to 400°C, reaching a working temperature of 300°C in less than two minutes. The digital LED display shows the current plate temperature in real-time and can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit at the touch of a button. The aluminum heating plate is enclosed by a sturdy metal frame, protecting against accidental contact with hot edges. The main application lies in preheating PCBs before using a hot air rework station, reducing thermal stress on multilayer boards and minimizing the risk of warping or damaged solder pads. Removing adhesives, separating displays, or soldering out temperature-sensitive components is also much gentler with controlled underheating. Important before the first operation: Completely remove any transport protection films on the aluminum heating plate before switching on, as these may otherwise stick or cause smoke development. The device operates at 230 V AC and is suitable for use in electronics repair, education, and mobile phone workshops.
