The device reliably detects water leaks through a 1-meter rope sensor cable supplied, which can be extended to 5 or 10 meters if needed — perfect for larger monitoring areas. The integrated 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery ensures an impressively long battery life of up to 10 years with moderate transmission frequency. The sensor is suitable for indoor spaces as well as more demanding locations, as it is well protected against dust and splashing water by its IP66 housing. Configuration is done conveniently via downlinks or the BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) interface with Dragino's app. Thanks to LoRaWAN compatibility, the sensor can communicate over long distances, also ideal for locations with little to no Wi-Fi or cellular service. Cleverly, the WL03A-LB not only reports water contact but also when the cable is damaged or disconnected. This gives you added security. Installation is simple, and the device can be made ready for use without technical expertise. Each sensor comes pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server, and the sensor automatically connects after being powered on if network coverage is available.
