USB Soldering Iron SI-168U 8W

This practical USB soldering iron from ProsKit is perfect for small soldering tasks at the office desk. The soldering iron is suitable for soldering SMD parts, as well as larger standard components such as pin headers, resistors, etc. The soldering iron reaches operating temperature after just 15s and soldering can begin. If the soldering iron is not used for more than 25s (touch sensor), it will shut off automatically. For transport and as protection, a plastic cap is included which can easily be removed. In order for the soldering iron to work at a USB port, it needs to provide at least 1.5A. You should first check if your USB port is suitable for the soldering iron and whether it also has an overcurrent protection to prevent it from being damaged. I recommend you operate the soldering iron with a powered USB hub or via a USB power supply. 

Important Info about the Soldering Iron:

The plastic safety cap on the soldering iron is clipped on and can easily be removed. Do not unscrew the cap as this may loosen the nut from the soldering tip!
