USB Soldering Iron BT-8U 8W

This practical 8W USB soldering iron is perfect for small soldering jobs at the desk. The soldering iron is suitable for soldering SMD components as well as larger standard components like pin headers, resistors etc. The soldering iron reaches its operating temperature in just 20 seconds and you can start soldering. A plastic cap is included for transportation and protection, which can easily be pulled off. In order to operate the soldering iron from a USB port, it must provide at least 1.5A. First, check if your USB port is suitable for the soldering iron and ensure it has overcurrent protection to prevent damage. I recommend using the soldering iron with a powered USB hub or through a USB power adapter.

Differences to the USB soldering iron ZD-20U 8W

The BT-8U has a mechanical pressure switch for switching on and off. Once the soldering iron is switched on, it stays on until the button is pressed again. Please be careful as it does not turn off by itself - always make sure to turn off the soldering iron after soldering!

Important information about the BT-8U Soldering Iron:

The plastic protective cap on the soldering iron is put on and can easily be pulled off. Do not unscrew the cap, as this will loosen the nut from the soldering tip!
