The Shelly FrankEver Water Valve DN15 is a smart, motorized valve for precise control of water supply in homes, gardens, and industrial environments. It is drinking water certified and features an integrated Shelly chip that unlocks all Shelly functions and enables integration into numerous smart home ecosystems. Thanks to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the valve operates without a hub, can serve as a Wi-Fi range extender and BLE gateway, and can be conveniently controlled via the Shelly Smart Control app or voice assistants like Alexa. The precise valve control from 0 to 100% allows accurate regulation of water flow, so that irrigation systems, pool installations, or domestic connections can be optimally adapted. An optional DS18B20 temperature sensor enables temperature-based automations to protect lines at falling temperatures and prevent frozen pipes. In the event of a power outage, the emergency power function ensures that the valve automatically opens or closes. Power is supplied via a standard USB type-A connection with 2 A, making installation simple and flexible. In combination with a Shelly Flood Sensor, the valve forms an effective automated water leak prevention system that detects water leaks and immediately shuts off the main water supply. This solution is suitable for residential homes, commercial properties, warehouses, and industrial facilities where water leaks could cause significant damage. Early detection and immediate shutdown of the water supply reduce property damage, meet insurance requirements, and secure operations.
