The Shelly FrankEver Water Valve DN20 is a smart, motorized valve for precise control of water supply in homes, gardens, and industrial environments. It is drinking water certified and features an integrated Shelly chip that unlocks all Shelly functions and allows integration into numerous smart home ecosystems. Thanks to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the valve operates without a hub, can serve as a Wi-Fi range extender and BLE gateway, and can be conveniently controlled via the Shelly Smart Control app or voice assistants like Alexa. The precise valve control from 0 to 100% allows the water flow to be regulated exactly, so irrigation systems, pool installations, or house connections can be optimally adjusted. An optional DS18B20 temperature sensor enables temperature-based automations to protect pipes and prevent frozen pipes when temperatures drop. In the event of a power failure, the emergency power function ensures that the valve automatically opens or closes. The power supply is provided via a standard USB Type-A port with 2A, making installation simple and flexible. In combination with a Shelly Flood Sensor, the valve forms an effective automated water leak prevention system that detects leaks and immediately shuts off the main water supply. This solution is suitable for residential buildings, commercial properties, warehouses, and industrial plants where water leaks could cause significant damage. Early detection and immediate shut-off of the water supply reduce property damage, meet insurance requirements, and ensure operations.
