SenseCAP Solar Node P1-Pro MeshCore LoRa Repeater with GPS

The SenseCAP Solar Node P1-Pro is a solar-powered LoRa node from Seeed Studio, delivered with the pre-installed MeshCore Repeater firmware. The device is based on the XIAO nRF52840 Plus module with ARM Cortex-M4 processor and combines a Wio-SX1262 LoRa module with an L76K Multi-GNSS receiver to create an autonomous outdoor wireless solution. Thanks to the integrated 5W solar panel and four 18650 lithium batteries each with 3350 mAh, the node runs continuously even without external power supply. In open terrain, a radio range of 8 to 9 km is achieved between two devices, making the Solar Node ideal as a range extender in the MeshCore mesh network. The L76K module receives GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo, enabling precise real-time location transmission. With the included bracket, the housing can be mounted on a pipe diameter from 70 to 100 mm, and the angle of the antenna is freely adjustable via the universal joint. The sturdy outdoor housing is designed for continuous outdoor use and operates in discharge mode from minus 40 to plus 60 degrees Celsius. Operation is via three buttons (Power, Reset, User), status LEDs indicate charge status, solar irradiation, and mesh activity. A Grove interface (I2C/GPIO/UART) is available for sensor extensions, and a USB-C port is used for debugging and alternative charging. Bluetooth 5.0 allows direct pairing with companion devices like the Wio Tracker L1 Pro or a smartphone app. Button-top 18650 cells must be used to replace the batteries. The SenseCAP Solar Node P1-Pro is particularly suitable for off-grid communication, mesh expansion in outdoor areas, and emergency scenarios.
