SenseCAP Card Tracker T1000-E for LoRaWAN
The SenseCAP Card Tracker T1000-E is a compact open-source GPS tracker in credit card format for LoRaWAN networks. The device integrates the Semtech LR1110 LoRa Transceiver, the Nordic nRF52840 microcontroller, and the Mediatek AG3335 GPS module for precise positioning and energy-efficient communication. The tracker supports multiple GNSS constellations such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS for reliable outdoor tracking. For indoor positioning, the T1000-E uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning. Integrated sensors capture temperature, ambient light, and movement via a 3-axis accelerometer. The 700 mAh Li-Ion battery allows a runtime of up to three months with hourly GNSS updates. The IP65 certified housing reliably protects against dust and water jets, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. Configuration is conveniently done via the SenseCraft app via Bluetooth 5.1. As a true open-source device, the SenseCAP T1000-E offers full access to the source code, allowing developers to customize and extend the firmware individually. In the absence of LoRaWAN coverage, the tracker stores over 1000 records locally and transmits them automatically once a connection is reestablished.
