Pressure equalization screw fitting M12 IP67
A waterproof housing is not always waterproof. Rapid temperature changes create pressure differences between the inside of the housing and the environment: a negative pressure builds up, and moist air and water are sucked into the housing. The Milvent pressure equalization screw fitting compensates for this difference using a special membrane that equalizes the pressure but does not let water through.
