PCIe to 4-CH PCIe Expansion HAT for Raspberry Pi 5
The Waveshare PCIe TO 4-CH PCIe HAT expands the single PCIe interface of the Raspberry Pi 5 to four independent PCIe FFC connectors. The expansion is based on the ASMedia ASM1184e PCIe packet switch chip, which splits one upstream port into four downstream ports in the PCIe Gen2 x1 standard. The board connects to the PCIe port of the Raspberry Pi 5 via a 16-pin FFC cable and is mounted directly onto the Pi in the HAT format. The package includes a heatsink for the PCIe switch and ten FFC cables in two lengths, allowing flexible setups with stacked HATs.
