The Waveshare OS05A10 5MP USB Camera (A) is a compact USB camera module with the OmniVision OS05A10 image sensor in a 1/2.7-inch format. The sensor delivers a resolution of five megapixels and utilizes PureCel pixel architecture with a backside-illuminated structure for high sensitivity even in low light conditions. Of particular note is the distortion-free lens with a distortion rate of less than -0.2%, which is significantly below the industry standard of two percent. The module operates driver-free in plug-and-play mode and is compatible with Windows, Linux, and macOS.
