Nova SDS011 Fine Dust Sensor

The Nova Fitness PM2.5 SDS011 particulate matter sensor operates using the light scattering principle and can measure particle concentrations between 0.3μm and 10μm in the air. The sensor has a serial output for communication. A USB-serial adapter is included so you can read the sensor directly on a PC. The lifespan in continuous operation is only one year, so only turn it on for measurement and then switch back to standby mode, thus achieving a lifespan of about 8 years.
