MP1584 3A Switching Regulator DC-DC Step-Down Converter

The MP1584 is an adjustable voltage regulator that generates a lower adjustable output voltage from a higher input voltage. The advantage of this switching regulator is that it has a very high efficiency, with a very small dimension.

Info: The input voltage must be 1.5 V higher than the output voltage! The chip has an integrated over-temperature protection. If it is operated with a high power without cooling, it can output 3A current at 5 V. Also note that at a higher output voltage, the output current is lower than 3A.
