mmWave 80GHz Water / Liquid Level Sensor 40 Meters, UART

The DFRobot liquid level sensor SEN0676 is a high-precision, contactless millimeter wave radar sensor for detecting liquid levels. It operates in the 80 GHz frequency band with FMCW technology (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) and achieves a range of 0.15 to 40 meters with 1 mm resolution and ±5 mm accuracy. The ±3° focus lens concentrates the measurement energy, minimizing reflections and interference. The sensor is suitable for applications with water, chemicals, and wastewater, as it does not come into contact with liquids due to its contactless measurement. The integrated anti-interference logic enables precise results even in fog, condensation, or foam. Via UART (Modbus protocol), the sensor can be directly connected to microcontrollers such as Arduino. The robust, weatherproof housing allows for use indoors and outdoors, such as in tanks, reservoirs, or industrial monitoring systems.
