The idler arm is made of precisely CNC-milled AL 6061 T6 aluminum, which impresses with its low weight and high strength. The 5-stage lightweight design of the spur gear reduces friction and inertia, while the optimized gearing ensures smooth power transmission. Unlike the original plastic parts, the metal construction offers no flexibility, resulting in stiffer and more precise power transmission.
