M5Stack NCIR MLX90614 Temperature Sensor Unit

The NCIR MLX90614 Unit from M5Stack is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor. The sensor can be used to measure the surface temperature of a human body or a moving object. Unlike most other temperature sensors, this sensor measures the infrared light emitted by distant objects, allowing it to capture temperature without contact. The sensor has a large measuring range from -70°C ( -94°F) to +380°C (716°F)! The measurement takes place over a field of view of 90 degrees, allowing for the determination of an average temperature of an object.

This unit communicates with the M5Core via the GROVE A interface, the I2C address is 0x5A.
