The M5Paper S3 is a powerful, energy-efficient E-Ink development kit perfect for smart applications. It is based on the ESP32-S3R8 microcontroller and offers a 4.7-inch E-Ink touchscreen display with a resolution of 960x540 pixels and 16 grayscale levels. The use of a capacitive GT911 touch panel allows for multi-touch and various gesture controls. Thanks to its extremely low power consumption and persistent display even without power, the M5Paper S3 is ideal for IoT applications, smart home controls, and many other projects. The features also include a gyroscope sensor, a buzzer, physical buttons, and an integrated 1800mAh battery with a charging function. The device's memory is generously equipped with 8MB PSRAM and 16MB Flash, and it also supports microSD card expansion. The device has an RTC chip (BM8563) for implementing sleep and wake-up functions, further optimizing battery life. Thanks to OTG support and expandable interfaces, numerous sensors and modules can be integrated. Additionally, the improved antenna performance ensures a stable Wi-Fi connection. Due to timing issues with the QC3.0/2.0 protocol in the PaperS3 software, there is a risk of overvoltage that can damage the device. Please do not use QC3.0/2.0 chargers to charge the PaperS3 for the time being. Our team is already working on a solution to this software issue.
