M5Stack ESP32 Core Ink Development Kit 1.54inch E-Ink Display

M5 CoreInk is a new E-Ink display in the M5Stack-Cores series. The 200x200Pixel E-Ink display is driven by an ESP32-PICO-D4. Compared to a regular LCD display, an E-Ink display is more readable thanks to its very good contrast. Another advantage is the low power consumption and the ability to maintain the image even when the power supply to the display is interrupted. For control and operation, the CoreInk features a multi-function button, a physical button, an integrated status LED, and a buzzer. The CoreInk also includes a 390mAh Lipo battery and an RTC (BM8563) for controlling accurate timekeeping and deep-sleep functionality. CoreInk has independent reset and power buttons, expansion ports (HY2.0-4P, M-BUS, HAT extension) for connecting external sensors for function expansion.

Avoid long-duration high-frequency display refreshes when using. The recommended refresh interval is 15s. Do not expose the device to ultraviolet rays for a long period of time as this can cause irreversible damage to the display. The power saving management solution used by CoreInk differs from that of the CORE and StickC devices. In operation, the PWR button is used as the power button (press for 2s). If you want to shut down the CoreInk, you must use the software API or press the reset button on the back.
