LM2596 DC-DC Step-Down Converter Module with Display

The LM2596 is an adjustable voltage regulator that generates a lower output voltage from a higher input voltage. The input voltage should always be about 3 V above the desired output voltage. The output voltage is set via the potentiometer, and the LED display shows either the input or the output voltage. The button on the board switches between them.

Info: A precision potentiometer is fitted on the module. It can take 5 to 10 turns to set the voltage.
