AS7262 Spectral Sensor Visible Light SparkFun Qwiic
The SparkFun AS7262 Visible Spectral Sensor Breakout brings spectroscopy into the palm of your hand, making it easier than ever to measure and characterize how different materials absorb and reflect different wavelengths of light. The AS7262 Breakout is unique in its ability to communicate via both an I2C interface and a serial interface with AT commands. The connection is simple and quick thanks to the Qwiic connectors mounted on the board. However, the sensor can also be connected by directly soldering strands or pin strips. The AS7262 spectrometer detects wavelengths in the visible range at 450, 500, 550, 570, 600 and 650NM light with a Full-Width-Half-Maximum (FWHM) detection of 40NM each. The board also has several options for illuminating objects for more accurate spectroscopy measurements. There is an onboard LED specifically selected for this task, as well as two pins for soldering your own LEDs.
