The HUSKYLENS 2 is a powerful next-generation AI vision sensor for makers and developers. At its core is a Kendryte K230 dual-core processor with 1.6GHz and an integrated 6 TOPS AI accelerator, running all algorithms directly on the device. With over 20 pre-installed AI models such as face recognition, object tracking, pose detection, and OCR, projects can be started immediately. Additionally, custom models can be trained with YOLO and deployed directly on the device. A particular strength is the integrated MCP service, which supplies large language models with context-related perception of the physical world. The 2.4-inch IPS touchscreen with 640×480 pixels and full lamination displays results in real-time. The interchangeable 2-megapixel GC2093 camera sensor allows the use of various lenses such as microscope or night vision modules. Video material can be live-streamed via USB-C or the optional Wi-Fi module. The Gravity interface with UART and I2C ensures broad compatibility with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, micro:bit, and other controllers. With 1GB LPDDR4 RAM and 8GB eMMC storage, sufficient resources for complex AI applications are available.
