DFRobot DFPlayer mini MP3 Player for Arduino

The DFPlayer Mini is a small and affordable MP3 player module for Arduino with a simplified output straight to the speaker. The module can be used as a stand-alone module with an attached battery, speaker, and push buttons, or in combination with an Arduino UNO or another microcontroller via serial RX/TX communication. There is already a completed library for communication, making your work even easier.

Note: The operating voltage of the DFPlayer Mini is 3.3 V, while the operating voltage of most Arduino boards is 5 V. It is possible to play music normally by directly connecting the Arduino to the DFPlayer Mini, but noise may occur. We therefore recommend connecting a 1k resistor in series with the RX pin of the DFPlayer Mini for voltage adjustment.

 To operate the module, you need a formatted microSD card where you create a folder named MP3. Now you can copy your MP3 files with the name "0001.mp3" "0002.mp3" etc. into this MP3 folder. With the command "mp3_play (1)", for instance, you can play "0001.mp3".
