DFPlayer mini MP3 Player Module for Arduino
With this MP3 player module, you can easily play sound effects or music with your Arduino. The module can also be operated alone without Arduino, making it a regular MP3 player. Controlling it via an Arduino is very simple and is realized through serial communication. For communication, there is already a finished library which makes your work even easier. It is important to install a resistor between the serial lines (TX => RX and RX => TX) for the current limitation of the Arduino output. To operate the module, you need a formatted microSD card where you create a folder named MP3. Now you can copy your MP3 files with the naming 0001.mp3 0002.mp3 etc. into this MP3 folder. With the command mp3_play (1) you can, for example, play 0001.mp3.
