DDS75-LS LoRaWAN Distance Sensor Node 868MHz with Solar

The DDS75-LS is a LoRaWAN distance sensor specifically designed for IoT solutions and powered by solar energy with an integrated battery. Using ultrasound technology, it measures the distance between the sensor and a flat object. Thanks to the internal temperature compensation, the measurement data is particularly reliable. The sensor is suitable for a wide range of applications, from liquid level measurement, water level measurement in rivers, snow accumulation to parking space monitoring. This robust sensor node, packed in a weatherproof housing, is ideal for outdoor use. The DDS75-LS not only serves as a simple sensor node, but has been specifically developed to facilitate the rapid implementation of industrial LoRa and IoT applications. The wireless part of the node is based on the SX1262, which enables the transmission of data over very long distances at low data rates. This ensures an exceptionally wide range, high interference immunity and optimizes power consumption. Equipped with a powerful 48 MHz ARM microcontroller, 256KB flash and 64KB RAM, the DDS75-LS is ready for all types of projects. The DDS75-LS has an integrated BLE module that allows you to conveniently configure the sensor from your mobile phone. It also supports OTA updates via a private LoRa protocol, which significantly simplifies maintenance. This sensor node is the third generation of the popular LDDS75 from Dragino and offers a sophisticated LoRaWAN stack as well as application software. You can use the pre-installed software for your IoT projects or adapt the software flexibly to different requirements.

Each sensor is preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and the sensor automatically connects after power on if network coverage is available.
