The Creality SparkX i7 Filament Runout & Cutter Sensor is an original spare part in version V07, combining a dual detection function in the tool head of the SparkX i7 3D printer. The sensor monitors the filament flow and detects both filament breakage and the end of the filament (runout), while also capturing the position of the cutting mechanism. This dual function is the basis for reliable automatic material change during multicolor printing and prevents misprints caused by unnoticed filament issues. As a direct replacement part, the sensor integrates into the existing system without modifications and connects to the mainboard via a plug-and-play connector, without the need for soldering or additional calibration.
