The CryoGrip Pro Glacier magnetic bed by BIQU is a double-sided spring steel sheet with a smooth surface, designed for high adhesion with technical materials and reliable print quality on the Creality K2 Plus. The Glacier coating provides uniform adhesion across the entire surface and is particularly suitable for demanding materials like PA or ABS. For PLA and PETG, the surface delivers good adhesion values but remains slightly less aggressive than the Frostbite variant. The recommended bed temperatures are 45–55 °C for PLA and 60–75 °C for PETG, ensuring stable first layers. The plate is compatible with all materials whose nozzle temperatures are below 300 °C. Due to the large usable area of 350×350 mm, the build plate is ideal for voluminous parts and tasks with high-area demands. The flexible spring steel allows for easy removal of models by lightly bending the plate after cooling. The smooth structure ensures clean undersides and clear contours of the first layer. With regular cleaning with water and soap or alcohol, the adhesion values remain constant. For small models or geometries with low surface area, the use of a brim can increase printing security.
