It uses modern C245 heating technology, which offers more power, larger soldering tips, and higher temperature stability compared to previous models (e.g., 982 III) – all at an attractive price-performance ratio. Thanks to the C245 standard, it can be used with both traditional soldering tips and special embedding adapters for threaded inserts in plastic, making the station ideal for the 3D printing and prototyping sectors. The device combines a soldering station, holder, cleaning ball, and heating element storage in a compact, integrated design. With 60W power and a rated voltage of 110–240V, the soldering iron reaches the set temperature in just 2–4 seconds. The temperature can be adjusted directly via buttons on the handle – without a separate control panel. Precise calibration allows for exact adjustment to environmental influences or different tips. During operation, intelligent energy-saving functions ensure efficiency: When the iron is put down, it automatically reduces to 200°C, and after 5 minutes of inactivity, the device switches to sleep mode. The LCD display clearly shows the set and actual temperature as well as the operating status.
