Sparkfun Flex Sensor 4.5 inch

This simple flex sensor, measuring 11.4cm in length, changes its resistance when bent. This sensor was also used in the original Nintendo Power Glove!

The connection pins have a grid size of 2.54mm. Thus, the sensor can directly be inserted into a breadboard.

Note: The usable range of the sensor can be bent without problems, but care should be taken to minimize the bending outside of the usable range. Otherwise, the sensor can be damaged.
