Shelly BLU Door Window ZB White Zigbee Bluetooth Door Window Sensor

The Shelly BLU Door Window ZB is a battery-operated door and window contact that combines Zigbee 3.0 and Bluetooth 5 LE in one device, with both protocols active simultaneously. The sensor reliably detects the opening and closing of doors and windows using a reed contact and the supplied magnet. Additionally, an integrated tilt sensor measures the tilt angle, allowing the tilt position of tilt-and-turn windows to be captured. A light sensor also provides ambient brightness in lux for light-dependent automations. In the Zigbee network, the sensor connects directly with compatible coordinators and hubs, benefiting from range extension through the mesh. Via Bluetooth, the sensor sends in the BTHome format and can be integrated into the Shelly Cloud through Shelly devices of the Plus, Gen3, Gen4, or Pro series as a gateway. Communication is AES encrypted (CCM mode). A standard CR2032 button cell powers the sensor in Regular Mode for up to 5 years; in the optional Beacon Mode with status messaging every 30 seconds, the runtime is correspondingly reduced. With dimensions of only 35 × 35 × 7 mm and a weight of 10 g, the sensor is hardly noticeable on window and door frames. It is mounted without tools using adhesive tape. The device is configured via the Shelly Smart Control App or directly via the respective Zigbee center such as Home Assistant.
