Shelly Pill 5-Terminal Add-on Interface Module for Sensors and I/O Expansion

The Shelly Pill 5-Terminal Add-on is a versatile interface module that makes the hardware features of the Shelly The Pill fully accessible. It provides five connection terminals: a 5-V power supply, a ground connection, and three configurable inputs/outputs with 3.3-V logic levels. The first I/O port (IO1) is particularly flexible and supports various operating modes, including 1-Wire sensors like DS18B20 and DHT22, analog inputs in the range of 0 to 2.5 V, and digital inputs and outputs. The two additional ports (IO2 and IO3) can be configured for digital signals at logic level. This add-on forms the basis for advanced automation projects and is also required for connecting additional peripheral modules such as the SSR Add-on or the Analog 0-30 V Add-on. With the 5-Terminal Add-on, simple switches, push buttons, reed contacts, float switches, or other digital sensors can be directly connected to the Shelly The Pill. Likewise, low voltage outputs such as status LEDs, buzzers, or small control relays can be controlled. All actions can be automated and combined with other sensor data via the Shelly Smart Control App.
