SCS cyanoPro X3 Thick Instant Adhesive 20g

The SCS cyanoPro X3 Thick Instant Adhesive 20g is a next-generation cyanoacrylate adhesive based on methoxyethyl. Thanks to this innovative formulation, the adhesive is free from hazardous substance labeling, offering high user safety. The thick consistency with a viscosity of 1200 to 1500 cP prevents the adhesive from running and is particularly suitable for vertical surfaces, porous materials, and bridging larger gaps. The adhesive is virtually odorless (Low Odour) and leaves no white residues at the bonding edges (Low Blooming), ensuring a clean finish. It bonds a wide range of materials such as metals, plastics (ABS, PC, PS, PVC), rubber (NBR, SBR), wood, and leather. The curing time varies depending on the material and is up to 15 seconds for NBR, up to 120 seconds for ABS, and over 90 seconds for steel. The tensile strength reaches 140 to 180 kg/cm² on steel and 70 to 100 kg/cm² on aluminum. The bonding temperature range extends from -55 °C to +80 °C. For application, surfaces should be cleaned and dried before the adhesive is applied sparingly. Storage is ideal at cool temperatures of 2 to 8 °C.

This instant adhesive is particularly suitable for bonding 3D-printed parts and is a perfect complement to our filament range. It joins components in seconds and is ideal for assembling multi-part prints or repairing minor cracks.

First Aid: In case of skin contact, rinse skin thoroughly with water and remove contaminated clothing; seek medical advice if skin irritation occurs. In case of eye contact, rinse gently with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses if possible, and continue rinsing; seek medical attention if irritation persists.
