SCS cyanoPro X2 Medium Viscosity Instant Adhesive 20g

The SCS cyanoPro X2 medium viscosity is a next-generation cyanoacrylate adhesive based on methoxyethyl. Thanks to this innovative formulation, the adhesive is free from hazardous substance labeling, ensuring high user protection. A key advantage over conventional instant adhesives is its low-blooming property, which reliably prevents white edges and blooming at the bond edges. Additionally, the adhesive is virtually odorless (low odor), making handling pleasant even in poorly ventilated environments. The medium viscosity consistency, with a viscosity of 100 to 150 cP, allows for controlled adhesive application and good gap filling. The adhesive is universally suitable for bonding metals, plastics such as ABS, PC, PS, and PVC, as well as rubber types like NBR and SBR. Cure times vary depending on the material, with NBR curing in as little as 10 seconds, ABS in up to 90 seconds, and steel in over 60 seconds. The tensile strength reaches 140 to 180 kg/cm² on steel and 70 to 100 kg/cm² on aluminum. The cured adhesive withstands temperatures ranging from -55 °C to +80 °C. For optimal adhesion, surfaces to be bonded should be cleaned and dried before application. The tube contains 20 g of adhesive and should be stored cool at 2 to 8 °C.

This instant adhesive is particularly suitable for bonding 3D-printed parts and is a perfect complement to our filament range. It bonds components in seconds and is ideal for assembling multi-part prints or repairing minor cracks.
