The S31-LB LoRa module is an 868 Mhz Long Range LoRa sensor node for indoor and outdoor use. The S31-LB uses a highly accurate SHT31 temperature and humidity sensor from Sensirion. The SHT31 is suitable for long-term outdoor use thanks to its waterproof casing. This sturdy sensor node, packed in a weatherproof casing, is ideal for outdoor use and is powered by an 8500mA Li/SOCl2 battery, ensuring long operating time. The S31-LB is more than just a sensor node. It was designed to enable rapid implementation of industrial LoRa and IoT solutions. The wireless part of the node is based on the SX1262, allowing the transmission of data over very long distances at low data rates. This guarantees an exceptionally wide range, high interference immunity and optimizes power consumption. Equipped with a powerful 48 MHz ARM microcontroller, 256KB flash and 64KB RAM, the PS-LB-NA is ready for all types of projects. The S31-LB has an integrated BLE module, which allows convenient configuration of the sensor from your mobile phone. It also supports OTA updates via a private LoRa protocol, significantly simplifying maintenance. This sensor node is the third generation of the popular LSN50v2-S31 from Dragino and offers a mature LoRaWAN stack as well as application software. You can use the pre-installed software for your IoT projects or flexibly adapt the software to different requirements. Each sensor comes preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and the sensor automatically connects upon power up, if network coverage is available.
