Raspberry Pi NoIR Camera V2 8MP

The Raspberry Pi NoIR Camera V2 8MP opens up doors to night photography and plant research, without the light of day. Equipped with a high-resolution Sony IMX219 8-megapixel sensor and the special feature of not having an infrared filter, this camera allows you to take pictures in almost complete darkness, provided there are infrared light sources. Pictures taken in daylight exhibit a unique aesthetic due to the absence of an infrared filter. In addition to the camera, you'll receive a blue foil which serves as a filter to monitor plant health by highlighting chlorophyll production. This feature makes the camera particularly interesting for observing plant growth and nocturnal animal activity. The camera is compatible with all Raspberry Pi models with a CSI connection, offering a wide range of use-cases, from security systems to scientific projects.
