Prusa CORE One L PEI Textured Double-Sided Spring Steel Build Plate

The Prusa CORE One L PEI Textured Double-Sided Spring Steel Build Plate is a powder-coated print bed made of spring steel, specifically designed for the Prusa CORE One L and CORE One L+ 3D printers. The PEI powder coating is directly applied to the metal, making the plate highly resistant to damage. If a heated nozzle touches the surface, the metal efficiently dissipates the heat. The textured surface transfers a visible texture to the underside of printed objects, giving them a distinctive finish. Mechanical damage from tools is largely concealed by the texture, as only the top side of the small irregularities is affected. No glue stick is required for PETG prints, as adhesion is ensured by the coating. After cooling, the prints usually release automatically from the surface. The build plate is double-sided and is magnetically fixed to the heated bed. It is important that cleaning must be done exclusively without acetone, as acetone causes microcracks in the PEI texture and permanently damages the surface. The Live-Adjust Z-setting is more tolerant with this textured variant compared to smooth sheets, making initial setup easier.
