PolyLite CosPLA Version A Filament 1.75mm 1Kg Polymaker

The PolyLite CosPLA Version A from Polymaker is a PLA filament specially developed for cosplay props with maximum sandability and excellent paint adhesion. Version A was developed with a unique polymer formulation that significantly eases the sanding of printed parts: layer lines can be removed with less effort and an even, smooth surface is reached faster than with standard PLA. The surface has a characteristic matte finish in gray/silver, which is ideal as a neutral base for painting.

Note: When sanding printed parts, appropriate protective equipment (respiratory protection, goggles) must be worn.

Properties:

• Maximum sandability among the CosPLA versions – layer lines can be removed faster and with less effort than with standard PLA or Version B
• Excellent paint adhesion after sanding and priming – acrylic paints, spray paints, and effect paints adhere evenly and reliably
• Better impact resistance than standard PLA – props are more resistant to the stresses of transport and wearing
• Matte gray/silver finish as a neutral base – ideal for subsequent painting, in some cases usable without prior priming
• Prints on any FDM printer without enclosure at 190–230°C nozzle temperature and 25–60°C bed temperature with full fan
