PN532 NFC HAT for Raspberry Pi

This is a Raspberry Pi NFC HAT that has a PN532 chip with which you can read and write 13.56MHz NFC / RFID cards. This NFC HAT for Raspberry supports three communication interfaces: I2C, SPI, and UART. NFC (Near Field Communication) is a wireless technology that enables contactless point-to-point data communication between devices at a distance of approximately 10cm. It is often used in applications such as access control systems, contactless payment systems, meal cards, smartphone NFC applications, etc.

Features of PN532 NFC HAT:

• Compatible with the standard Raspberry Pi 40pin GPIO extension bar. Can therefore be used with any Raspberry Pi
• Onboard PN532 chip, supports various NFC/RFID cards such as MIFARE/NTAG2xx, etc.
• Three selectable communication interfaces: I2C, SPI and UART, configured via jumper and switch.
• Breakout pin bar, so you can easily connect this PN532 NFC HAT to an Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266 or STM32.

Connectors and functions of PN532 NFC HAT:

1. Raspberry Pi GPIO port: for connection with Raspberry Pi
2. PN532 control pins: for connection with other host cards such as STM32
