The PLA-Wood Walnut Filament from eSun is a PLA-based 3D printing material that replicates the deep brown, warm tone of walnut wood. Unlike wood filaments with real wood fibers, eSun's PLA-Wood achieves the wood appearance solely through an active foaming technology and contains no wood particles, no cellulose, and no lignin content. The foaming reduces the density to about 0.7 g/cm³, making the printed objects significantly lighter than with standard PLA. The filament is environmentally friendly, biodegradable, non-toxic, and low-odor, as it is made from renewable resources.
