With the integrated 90 W soldering iron, consistent and even heat is provided, so that thread inserts can be cleanly and centrally anchored in the plastic. The setup is completed in a few minutes, as the system is delivered 95% preassembled. Thanks to the included adapter tips for M2 to M8, different insert sizes can be processed flexibly. For optimal results, the processing temperature should be about 10–15 °C above the hotend temperature of the filament used. In addition, a standard soldering tip is included so that the device can also be used as a classic soldering iron if needed. Due to its compact design, the kit is suitable for workshops, maker spaces, and professional 3D printing farms where particularly durable screw connections are required.
